Lingaa Collects 100 Crores

Superstar Rajinikanth who is back with his latest movie Lingaa has been released worldwide on December 12th on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s birthday. The movie has received mixed reviews from the analysts and the audience; however the movie collections have been strong enough. The movie minted Rs 100 crore in its opening weekend which is a record for a South Indian movie. Lingaa has been released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages worldwide.

 

Rajinikanth, Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha played the main leads in Lingaa which has been directed by KS Ravikumar who directed Muthu and Narasimha with Rajinikanth in the past. AR Rahman composed the music for Lingaa and the movie has been produced by Rockline Venkatesh on Rockline Entertainments banner. Eros International has bought the theatrical rights of Lingaa and they have release the movie on a massive scale. Let’s wait to see how much will Lingaa make in the first week and during the weekdays.
