Huge Demand for Karthikeya Tamil Rights

Nikhil and Swathi starrer Karthikeya is a small film that has been released for Diwali on October 24th and created huge sensation in Telugu Film Industry. The movie has collected 20 crores in 20 days of the theatrical run as per the analysts and it is still going strong. As per the latest news, the movie’s Tamil rights have been on huge demand and lot of producers have quoted some handsome offers to the movie’s producer Venkata Srinivas. RB Chowdary has been in talks with the producer and is in plans to remake the movie with his son as the main lead.

However the plans of Venkata Srinivas have been completely different. He has already got ready with the dubbed version of Tamil and he reveals that he wants to launch Nikhil in Tamil. Karthikeya has been shot as a bilingual movie however the Tamil release has been delayed because of Vijay’s Kaththi and Vishal’s Poojai for Diwali. Even poured with huge offers, the producer wants to release the original film in Tamil. Karthikeya has been directed by Chandu Mondeti who made his debut with this movie and Sekhar Chandra has composed the music and Karthik Ghattamaneni is the producer.
