Lakshmi Menon with Vishal again

Even before the release of his current film, director Suseenthiran seems to have finalized his next project. Shruti Haasan, who's acting with Vishal in Poojai, was earlier being considered for the project, but now, Lakshmi Menon has been finalized for it. This will be the third film (after Pandiya Naadu and Naan Sigappu Manithan) that the duo will be working together.
Suseenthiran confirms, "We had approached Shruti first for the film, and spoke about the script for an hour. She frankly told us that she did not have dates till next April. So, we have now roped in Lakshmi Menon." The director adds that while Lakshmi has some exams during the planned shooting schedule, the team is trying to work around the problem. While some sections of the media have mentioned that the film will be set in Madurai like the combo's earlier film Pandiya Naadu, the director clarifies that he is yet to complete writing the script and will decide on the location only later.
