Prabhu Deva is Happy Single

Looks like director and choreographer Prabhu Deva is enjoying his single status. At a press conference that took place recently in Chennai, the director was asked, 'Are you happy being single?' To this, the director nodded in reply and said, "Yeah”. He also cleared rumours about directing a Tamil comedy featuring Vadivelu in the lead. "There is no truth in such rumours," Prabhu Deva said and made it clear that he was eager to direct a Tamil film.

"I too am longing to direct a film in Tamil but because I have committed myself to directing a few Hindi films now, I can't direct a Tamil film next. However, I intend to direct one soon," he said and informed that his next Hindi film, titled Action Jackson, was almost done. Only 10 per cent of the film is left. We have to shoot three songs. I am leaving for Austria to finish a schedule. We are looking to release this film by the year end," he said.

When asked if there was any truth in rumours that he was the most paid director in the country, Prabhu Deva laughed and replied, "I wish this was true. The fact is that there are several others who are much bigger than me in stature and more sought after than I am”. Prabhu Deva, who, is the favourite choreographer of several top stars including Superstar Rajinikanth, hasn't been choreographing any songs even in his own films. Will he take up choreographing assignments if they come his way? "Definitely. If I get an opportunity and if the dates don't clash, I would love to choreograph," he signed off.
