Nargis to Play Sangeeta Bijilani

Talented actress Nargis Fakhri has done few movies in her career and she has been quite selective about the character she has been offered. After wrapping up the shoot of her Hollywood flick Spy, Nargis has now been offered a big film and she will reprise the role of Sangeetha Bijilani in the biopic of Mohammad Azharuddin. Emraan Hashmi will play the main lead in this biopic and he has been trained exclusively for the film under the supervision of Azharuddin himself. The first look poster of the movie has created huge sensation all over.

The movie has been titled as Azhar and it will be directed by Tony D’Souza. The makers have faced many challenges in finalizing the leading lady who will surprise as Sangeeta Bijilani in the movie. They have finally opted for Nargis after having a huge search. Prachi Desai will play Azhar’s first wife in the movie as Naureen and the makers wanted a model who can look stunning and sensuous with a class appeal. The regular shoot of the movie will start from July and Azhar will be produced by Ektha Kapoor on Balaji Motion Pictures banner.
