Ranbir Is a Street Fighter

Rocking Star Ranbir Kapoor has been busy with multiple movies and he has recently wrapped up the shoot of his latest movies Roy and Bombay Velvet. Bombay Velvet has been postponed many times and finally the movie is making its way for release. The first look of Ranbir Kapoor has been released and the first look teaser is expected to release tomorrow. Ranbir plays a street fighter Johnny Balraj in the movie and the movie is set in the backdrop og Bombay during 1950s and 1970s. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen flaunting six pack abs for the movie during the action sequences and some of them include cage fighting sequence.

Ranbir has been trained in boxing for Bombay Velvet and the movie has been directed by Anurag Kashyap and it marks the first commercial film of the director who made many off beat movies in the past. The movie has been shot extensively in Srilanka and the movie is about a street fighter who gained name and emerged as a big shot in Bombay in the olden days. Anushka Sharma played the female lead in the movie and the film is based on the novel 'Mumbai Fables' by Gyan Prakash. Bombay Velvet has been produced by Fox Star Studios along with Phantom and the movie has been slated for release on May 15th all over.
