Bank Chor Story

Bank Chor is all about three friends who plan to rob a bank. Champak (Ritesh Deshmukh) and his friends targets a bank in South Mumbai. Soon after they enter into the bank, the customers along with the bank employees realize that they are completely inexperienced and will do no harm. The cops and the CBI wait outside the bank for these petty thieves. The rest of Bank Chor is all about what happens next. Watch the film to know about the interesting comic drama.

Bank Chor Analysis :

Bank Chor Movie Review, Rating, Story

The first half of the film starts on a comic note however the film turns out to be a thriller soon after 20 minutes. The major disadvantage of the film is most of the episodes look fake and the movie has been completely dragged with a silly and simple line. Though Ritesh Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi try to impress the audience, this alone could not save the movie. The first half of Bank Chor leaves the audience in deep confusion if they can continue watching the second half.

Bank Chor has enough scope for entertainment and suspense but it is the narration that slams the entire film. With the thieves relaxing in the banks and playing video games while the cops and CBI waiting outside the bank for hours will not go well with the audience. The pre-climax and the climax episodes kill the film completely and they look completely dragged. Each and every scene looks predictable. On the whole, the second half of Bank Chor makes the film fall flat.

Bank Chor Performance :

Riteish Deshmukh nails it as a Marathi manoos turned bank chor Champak Chandrakant Chipulkar. Vikram Thapa has been decent who is making his debut. Bhuvan Arora and Vikram Thapa play his perfect aides Genda and Gulab. Rhea Chakraborty struggles as reporter Gayatri Ganguly aka Gaga. Vivek Oberoi has been extremely impressive as a cop.

The story of Bank Chor looks fine but the screenplay and the dialogues fail to impress the audience. A good care on screenplay would have made wonders for the film. The music and the background score looked decent. The cinematography has been decent and is challenging. The editing has been poor and the production values looked decent. The director fails in all the available ways in making Bank Chor an impressive comic entertainer.

Final Word:

Bank Chor offers nothing and fails miserably in keeping the audience engaging and entertaining. Ritesh Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi shines well in their assigned roles.
