Madaari Story

Madaari starts off with the kidnap of Home Minister Prashant Goswami's (Tushar Dalvi) only son Rohan Goswami (Vishesh Bansal) by Nirmal Kumar (Irrfan Khan). Nirmal makes a huge study before he kidnaps Rohan which shakes not only the Home Minister, but also his cabinet. Nachiket Verma (Jimmy Sheirgill) will be assigned to bring back Rohan and during this time Nirmal calls Prashanth for an open debate. The rest of Madaari is about what happens next. Watch the film to know about the complete story.

Madaari Analysis :

Madaari Movie Review

The first half of the film doesn’t excite one so much but the film has been decent throughout because of some interesting episodes throughout. The performance of Irrfan will sure have a massive impact on the audience all over. The narration has been decent though there are some interesting episodes that kill the flavour. On the whole the first half of Madaari has been decent and ok.

The second half of Madaari has been dragged too much and it lacks the needed interesting narration. Many of the episodes have been dragged too much which kill the film completely. Having an actor like Irrfan Khan, one can elevate the film with his outstanding performance, but it completely killed the film. The uninteresting climax makes the film fall flat. On the whole the second half of Madaari has nothing much to reveal and is the reason for the film’s debacle.

Madaari Performance :

Irrfan Khan has been outstanding in the assigned role and he did a decent job throughout. His ruggish and fearless performance is a treat to watch on screen. Jimmy Shergil has been decent with his job and all the other actors have been good in their roles.

The story of the film has been simple but it can be narrated in an interesting way if it has a decent screenplay. But the screenplay and dialogues lacked the interest and gripping narration. The music has not much scope to be showcased and the cinematography has been outstanding and is the film’s major highlight. The editing has been crisp and the production values have been decent. Nishikant Kamat failed to impress the audience with his direction as the film lacked interesting narration and gripping screenplay.

Final Word:

Madaari is a film that fails to impress the audience and hold your interest at parts. Though Irrfan does his best, the film fails to impress.
