Drishyam Analysis :

Drishyam Movie Review

The first half of the movie is completely simple shot in a beautiful Goan village. The movie builds up the characters in the first half which has been narrated in an interesting way. The pre interval episodes catch up the attention and on the whole the complete first half has been impressive.

For a thriller the second half of the film is quite crucial and that is what we find in Drishyam. The second half of the movie is quite gripping with nail biting episodes all the way. The performances of Ajay Devgn and Tabu take the film to the next level and the climax has been real stunning. On the whole the second half of the movie makes a huge impact on the audience ending the film in a positive way.

Drishyam Performance :

Ajay Devgn who is known for his mass masala films has tried completely new with Drishyam and he succeeded completely in the character of Vijay. He has been serious throughout the movie and his expressions in the movie are top notch. Tabu has delivered a commanding performance as a grey and rustic cop in the film. She has been outstanding and the movie catches pace after the entry of Tabu. Shriya Saran has been beautiful and apt as Nandini in the movie. All the other supporting characters did their assigned job.

The story of the movie is quite simple but interesting. The script has an universal appeal and it has been a huge hit in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. The screenplay and the dialogues have been written well as per the Bollywood nativity without missing the original flavour of the movie. Though the songs have been limited, they have been suitable and engaging. The background score of the movie is an asset for the film. The editing has been superb and the production values have been grand enough. Director has been completely successful in bringing out the needed output.

Final Word:

Drishyam is sure a huge winner for its terrific thrilling elements throughout the second half. Though the first half of the movie has been slow, the movie is sure a worth watch.
