Story

Raghuram Rathod (Emraan Hashmi) and his would be wife Sia Varma (Amyra Dastur) are agents of ATD which is related to Anti Terrorist Squad. Both of them decide to kill a suicide bomber and then get married to keep their future secured. A new assignment will be assigned to them a day before their marriage which is related to the security of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister along with Raghuram get killed in the attack however Raghu will be still alive but now he is also Mr. X. Due to the chemicals that react when he is killed in a refinery, the radiation reacts on his body and he can now be visible only in sunlight and blue light. The rest of the movie is how he kills down all the enemies and wins his love.

Analysis :

Mr X Movie Review

The first half of the film has too many loop holes and the script of the movie has not been gripping enough. The movie has been ok at times but it dips down from the next scene. On the whole the first half of the movie has nothing much to say about.

The second half of the film has been interesting at times but the main needed plot has not been taken care. The villain’s character in the movie has not been written well and the story has been clumsy to narrate. On the whole the second half of the movie has been a major downfall.

Performance :

Emraan Hashmi who has proved himself as an actor has delivered well as Raghu. Amyra Dastur need to improve a lot and she seemed completely confused like the regular Bhatt heroines do. Arunoday Singh as the lead antagonist is oddly fitting. He seems devilish and cold-blooded with his body language but his character has not been strong enough. All others have been decent with their works.

The story of the movie is the major drawback of the film. The screenplay and the dialogues have not been taken care of. The music and the cinematography are the only highlights of the film. The graphics in the movie have been exceptional for the standards of Bollywood. The production values have been grand enough. The director failed completely in presenting a super hero movie in an engaging way.

Final Word:

Mr X has nothing much to reveal out new and the poor plot spoils the complete movie. Music and cinematography have been decent. On the whole this movie can be completely ignored.
