Story

The movie is about Dolly (Sonam Kapoor) who fools men with her beauty. She makes them fall for her and gets married and runs away with the money the next morning. Dolly works as a team with her mates who manages her not to get caught and captured. In this process she meets Sonu Sarawat (Rajkummar Rao) and Manoj Singh Chadda (Varun Sharma) whom she fools. Robin Singh (Pulkit Samrat) takes over the case to catch Dolly and the rest of the movie is if Robin could catch Dolly and her gang.

Analysis :

Dolly Ki Doli Movie Review

The first of the film has been good with lots of fun and entertainment all over and ends on a faster note. The scenes how Dolly sets her target have been shot well and the first half impresses. The second half of the movie has nothing new and it dips down and the film becomes completely predictable. The film loses grip because of its poor narration and the climax makes the film ridiculous.

Performance :

Sonam Kapoor has been completely glamorous and this was her best performance till date. She has improved alot and surprises everyone with her performance. Rajkummar, Varun and Zeeshan  have small roles and they have been completely wasted in the movie. All the other characters have done a decent job.

The story has a thin line and the screenplay in the first half has been interesting. The music and the cinematography have been just average and editing too has been ok. The songs have been placed well and the production values have been good. The director failed to keep the audience engaged because of the second half.

Final Word:

Dolly Ki Doli has some good entertainment in the first half but it fails completely because of the second half which makes the movie below average.
