Analysis :

Bang Bang Movie Review

The first half of the film starts with lot of interest and drops down because of the slow narration. The romantic scenes bring back the interest and the songs which are shot in beautiful locations. The interest goes down and the heavy action sequences having nothing benifit for the script except adding run time for the film. Hrithik will be moving on to different countries with the opponents chasing and you see the interval cards on the screen without anything revealed.

The second half starts on the same note and the action continues with romantic scenes fitted in between. The songs are huge plus for the movie and they have been shot extremely well. The drama has been written bad and makes the film fall down. The last half an hour of the film is interesting with some good action chases in Hollywood style but the movie ends on a predictable note.

Performance :

Hrithik Roshan is undoubtedly the best actor and he steals the show with his superb body language. Hrithik once again proved that he is the Indian superhero and king of action movies. His dance movements in the film should have a special mention. Katrina Kaif looks gorgeous in the film and the extra benefit is you get to see her performing huge action sequences in the film. Katrina is very beautiful and especially in the romantic scenes with Hrithik, her expressions are top notch. All the actors have done justice to their roles.

The story of the movie is very simple and reminds us of old James Bond films of everyone chasing only one. You don’t get to know who is the police and who is the spy. The screenplay has been quite simple. The drama of the film has been written quite slowly and makes the movie so boring. The photography has been fantabulous  capturing each and every rupee spent. The production values and the music are the main assets of Bang Bang. The director has succeeded in capturing some good action sequences but the narration is a downfall. The drama and screenplay shoud have been tight and interesting.

Final Word:

Bang Bang has good action sequences which are shown in the trailer. The chemistry between Hrithik and Katrina has been flavoured with all the ingredients. The boring drama and a bad screenplay makes the film fall down. Bang Bang is just an OK film. Not worth on big screen.
