Ajay Devgn to play King Ashoka?

Bollywood action hero Ajay Devgn who is ready to storm the box-office with his 'Singham Returns' is all set to star in a Indo - French film. According to a leading daily, the actor has been approached by a French producer Manuel Collas De La Roche to play King Ashoka. It is also reported that Rajkumar Santhoshi will be directing this epic film.

Interestingly, the filmmakers have shortlisted the Hollywood singer-actor Jennifer Lopez to play the female lead as they feel that her physical appearance is most suitable to play an Indian Queen. However, there is no formal announcement about this development. According to report, producer Manuel revealed that his astrologer Nitin Manchanda had suggested that he will produce this film.
