Sushant Singh Rajput has been riding high with many interesting projects and back to back hits. The actor pinned massive hopes on his next film Raabta which is said to be the costliest film ever made in his career. Top filmmaker Dinesh Vijan turned director with the film and Kriti Sanon essayed the female lead. The film is said to be a romantic action drama and the trailer, songs have been well accepted by the audience. Raabta released all over yesterday in over 1500 screens across the globe.

Raabta received mixed response from the audience and the performances by the lead actors along with the romantic episodes have been well lauded by the audience. Raabta managed to collect Rs 5.61 crores on its first day across the country which is pretty low. The movie opened with 10% occupancy and the evening shows witnessed decent crowds. Dinesh Vijan, Homi Adajania and Bhushan Kumar bankrolled Raabta on Maddock Films and T Series. The movie is expected to end up as a disappoint at the box-office.
