Winners of Padma Awards 2016

The prestigious Padma awards for the year 2016 have been announced today by the Indian government which will be awarded on January 26th on the eve of Republic Day. For their excellence in their selective fields, the awards for Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padmashri  for the year 2016 have been announced. All the awards will be presented to the actors by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee.

Superstar Rajinikanth has been selected to be presented with Padma Vibhushan award for his contribution to Indian cinema. Media Baron Ramoji Rao too has been selected for Padma Vibhushan award.

Bollywood actor Anupham Kher has been awarded with Padma Bhushan award. Singer Udit Narayan too has been selected for Padma Bhushan.

Talented actors Ajay Devgn and Priyanka Chopra have been awarded with the prestigious Padma Shri awards for their excellence in cinema. Super talented director SS Rajamouli too has been selected for Padma Shri awarded.
