Azhar Movie Updates

Ever since the biopic of Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin has been announced, the whole country has been waiting for the movie. The pre production work of the film has been wrapped up some time ago and Emraan Hashmi will play the lead role in the movie. He has been trained under the supervision of Azharuddin which took enough time. The makers have shot a promotional video about the movie which received exceptional response from the audience. Emraan Hashmi worked on his look which completely resembled Azhar in the movie.

Tony D’Souza will direct the movie who directed Akshay Kumar’s Boss in the past. The movie’s shoot has been initially planned in June but it got delayed due to various reasons. As per the latest update, the regular shoot of Azhar will start from July 24^th in London. Prachi Desai will play Azhar’s first wife Naureen in the movie and Nargis Fakhri will play Sangeetha Bijilani in the film. The movie will be produced by Shoba Kapoor, Ektha Kapoor, NP Singh and Sneha Rajani on Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictures banner. Azhar will complete shoot and will release all over on May 13^th next year.
