Shahid’s Udta Punjab Release Date

Young and Handsome actor Shahid Kapoor who has recently wrapped up the shoot of his latest movie Shandaar in the direction of Vikas Bahl. Alia Bhatt is playing the female lead in the movie which discusses about the destination weddings. Shahid has started shooting for his next project Udta Punjab recently which tells the story of substance abuse in Punjab. Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena apoor Khan and Dilijit Dosanjh are playing the lead roles in this comedy entertainer. The movie has now completed 50% of its shoot as per the latest update.

Abhishek Chaubey is directing the film which revolves around four different perspectives. As per the latest update, the movie has been planned to hit the screens for Republic Day next year. The movie will complete shoot by October as per the sources from the movie unit and will release on January 26th, 2016. The movie has been produced by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Ekta Kapoor and Shoba Kapoor on Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures. Amit Trivedi is composing the music and more details about the project to be revealed soon.
