Sonakshi’s Next Gets a Title

Sonakshi Sinha who made her debut with Salman Khan’s Dabangg emerged as the leading actress after scoring back to back hits. She has done very interesting films in her career and is one of the busiest heroines in Bollywood. She has recently signed a woman centric movie in the direction of AR Murugadoss who directed Ghajini and Holiday in the past. The movie has completed all the pre production formalities and the regular shoot of the movie started from March 14th.

The movie is an official remake of a tamil movie titled Mounaguru and Shatrugan Sinha will be seen in an important role. As per the latest update the movie has been titled as Akira and Sonakshi revealed the news on twitter. She posted “Say hello to #AKIRA. My new name and new film. @ARMurugadoss @foxstarhindi”. Akira will be the first movie in which Sonakshi is playing the lead role and the movie features Anurag Kashyap in a negative role. The movie has been produced by Fox Star Studios and the movie will be released in the second half of 2015.
