Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen starrer Rang Rasiya has been stalled due to various problems. The movie has completed shoot almost 5 years ago and finally the movie si about to see the limelight on November 7th, this Friday. The movie has crossed many hurdles to get out for the release and now the movie has been stopped with a new problem. The movie is based on the life of famous painter Ravi Varma. Indiradevi Kunjamma, the granddaughter of Ravi Varma has filed a complaint stating that the movie is based on her grandfather Ravi Varma.

 

Indiradevi says that the movie has shown her grandfather in a vulgar way and this spoils the image of Ravi Varma who is noted to be one of the greatest Indian painters. She also confirmed that Ravi Varma had no affairs with any woman in his life. The court has made it clear that the makers can release the movie by adding a disclaimer that the film doesn’t have any connections with the Legendary painter. Director Ketan Mehta responded strongly saying that the Censor Board has cleared the film without any objections an year ago. Let’s wait to see the next step.
