Haider crosses 50 crore mark

Shahid Kapoor’s Haider has been released on October 2nd and the movie has received very good reviews. However the movie opened up with slow collections because of the strong opposition from Bang Bang. Haider has been released with limited screens and opened up to less than 50% occupancy all over. With Bang Bang getting excellent openings Haider remained as the second option despite of receiving very good reviews and response. However Haider collected slow and steadily at the box-office. The latest update is that the movie has crossed 50 crore mark in 11 days.

 

Shahid Kapoor’s Haider managed to collect 50.07 crores. The movie has approximately collected 4 crores on its second Sunday. Shraddha Kapoor played the female lead in the movie and Tabu, Kay Kay Menon played the other important roles. Haider is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’. The movie has been directed and produced by Vishal Bharadwaj. The movie has been shot extensively in exclusive locations of Kashmir.
